అసలు కొబ్బరి కాయ ఎందుకు కొట్టాలి
కొబ్బరి కాయ కొట్టడమెందుకు దేవతలను పూజించే నమయంలో ఇతర శుభకార్యాలు, యజ్ఞాలు, వ్రతాలు చేసే సమయంలో కొబ్బరికాయను తప్పనిసరిగా కొడతారు. నైవేద్యము సమర్పిస్తారు. కొబ్బరికాయపైన ఉన్న పెంకు "ఆహంకారానికి" ప్రతీకగా చెప్పబడింది. పరమేశ్వరుని నిత్యం ధ్యానించడం లేదా పూజించడంవలన అహం నశిస్తుంది.
